Hotel Burgess in Reedly CA

Right now I am going to tell you guys about Hotel Burgess in Reedly CA.In 1912 Harry F. Winnes opened this hotel on G street & on the first floor of the hotel he used it as a merchendise store & the second floor was fernished & oparated as a rooming house under the name Hotel Winnes. Over the years the first floor contained many other buissneses such as a furniture store, skating rink, bank, jewerly shop & a flower shop. In the early 1970s Myrtle Burgess aquired the building & changed the name to Hotel Burgess. In 2003 Michael became a proud owner of HB. Ok then here is my review for the hotel.I give the hotel a 4 out of 5 stars because the antiques & rooms were cool. It was interesting to see Direct TV in a hotel but there was one thing i did'nt like about hotel burgess. It was the service in the cafe because there was only one person working in there.Ok this concludes this blog post now to see the pics below (theres more on flickr). As of 2013, the hotel has been closed.

The hallway on the second floor.

The lobby in the hotel.

A day at the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz CA

Today we are going to read about The Mystery Spot. The Mystery Spot is a gravitational anomaly located in the redwood forest outside of Santa Cruz CA. It is a circular area of effect around 150 feet & 46 meters in diameter. The Mystery Spot was discovered in 1939 by a group of serveyors & opened in public in 1940. The place has amazed a lot of visitors from around the world. Some speculate that metal cones were secretly brought here & buried under the ground as guidence systems for their space craft. Different theories include carbon dioxide permeating from the earth, a hole in the ozone layer, magma vortex, the highest dielectric biocosmic radiation in the world,& radiesthesia. The Mystery Spot if fun for all ages & heres the photo tour I have.

The driveway to the MS.

Here is the enterance to the Mystery Spot.

A machine that makes your pennies into souveniers.

The gift shop.

The directory sign is so cool!

The history sign about the Mystery Spot.

The Mystery Spot featured on both Life magazine & Ripleys Believe It Or Not.

The first interior snapshot of the mystery spot showing the person doing the tour(left) & the heavy ball tied on the rope being slanted.

The people have been dizzy & slanted on the ground as well. But is a lot of fun!

The tour person is on the steps.

so it has come to this the third hamster of the winter

First there was peanut then there was hoho & now say hello to cream. Cream is a very friendly hamster & seems to act like peanut because she likes to hide/sleep in the tunnels. The reason why I named it cream is because she is cream colored. But it has come out a few times like she needed to eat food & she slept in the hid n see TV. I pet her a few times she is a jumpy one but still friendly.I have bad news cream died of wet tail.It might have been somthing in the cage thats causing the hamsters to die.I will get a new cage & hamster this summer.
